Hello,
I'm Seth. I sing and play guitar in this rock n roll crew we call The Backsteps. We have been a group since 2017.
We are excited to announce that our debut album "Oh Yeah" has finally been released after months of hard work and dedication. This album draws different influence from all decades and genres of music and makes it into one crazy rock record.
Back in 2017 Devin (our drummer) and I recorded a few songs; which later became our first demo CD, and played a bunch of shows in the Kingston area. In late 2019, we decided that we wanted to take our love for music a bit more seriously and try and make it a career. We recruited two of the most talented musicians we knew, Luke Garrison on bass and vocals and Josh McEvoy on the lead guitar.
With these additions to the line up we have played shows all over Ontario and were planning shows to promote the new record all over North America. Unfortunately, due to COVID, a lot of our shows were cancelled, but we are getting back on track and cannot wait to start playing to you all again soon!
But for now, make sure to keep your eye out for any updates, local show dates (Kingston/Gananoque area), new music, new merchandise, new everything.
